About Us

Sai Organisation was initially formed in Singapore in the early 1970s.
Subsequently, Sathya Sai Central Organisation, Singapore (SSCOS) in 1974 and later Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation Singpore (SSSIOS) in 2007 were formed respectively to carry out national events in Singapore.

All Sai centres in Singapore were members of Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSSIO) by 2016. Sometime between 2020 to 2021, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust (SSSCT) in Puttaparthi, decided to form Sri Sathya Sai Global Council based in Prasanthi Nilayam to include SSSCT, SSSIO and Sri Sathya Sai All India Organisation
(SSSAIO).

This was to consolidate and universally apply the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba as well as conduct activities in a unified manner among all centres within the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation of the Three (3) organisations.

Discussions were held amongst office bearers of SSSCT, SSSAIO and SSSIO.
SSSAIO accepted immediately. SSSIO initially agreed but later withdrew. Ten (10) Centres in Singapore registered with Sri Sathya Sai Global Organisation
(SSSGO). SSSIO Singapore then disaffiliated these Centres.

Hence, in November 2021, Mr Vashdev A Khialani applied to Registry of Societies in Singapore to register Sri Sathya Sai Global Organistion, Singapore. This was approved and registered in May 2022. The 1 st Annual General Meeting was held in June 2022
and Mr Vashdev A Khialani was appointed the National Country Chairman for a
Two (2) year duration.

Prasanthi Nilayam at Puttaparthi has been Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Holy Abode and the place from which Sri Sathya Sai Baba carried out His Mission.

He had declared that he would always make Prasanthi Nilayam His Home.

The objectives of SSSGO Singapore are to coordinate and work together on national and also overseas events, to practise Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings, to promote Sathya Sai Education (SSE), Sathya Sai Education In Human Values (SSEHV), conduct spiritual and seva events as well as to bring together Youths into one unified group to be ready to carry on in the future.
